FRAGMENTS OF SAPPHO STATEMENT

These images of women floating in water surrounded by swirling yellow, red, blue and black fabric are metaphors of the ancient Greek writer Sappho’s poetic fragments.

"While a delicate fire is beneath my skin"

The archival digital photographs are printed with Ultrachrome Inks on Epson Luster paper and are archival for 100+ years (compared to the 20 year life span of a chromogenic c-print). All prints are signed, dated, numbered in a limited edition of 6 and available in 5 different image sizes ranging from 9.5 ” x 14” up to 44” x 66”.
